This is a little out of the ordinary so bear with me.
I am looking for info on an old pro team that played in England back in the late 80's, early 90s. The team was called Bart's Stud Squad. I have searched the web and found some info, but it is contradictory.
I know that they hail from southern england. I know that they won one of the first major tounries in England in the pro division, but I am not sure if it was the Masters or the Campaign Cup.
I would like to know if some of the things I have heard about them are true, such as that when they started playing they were so bad that, as a joke, they started playing in skirts, if not in full drag, while calling themselves "Stud Squad". From what I gather, people laughed, until these guys started owning everyone around.
Any info would be appreciated. If any of the members, or former members are on AO and want to chime in, I would especcially like to hear from you.
My reasons for doing this are simple. I have been playing on Stud Squad NY for over a decade. We are building a website and I want to get as much info as possible to put into a "history" section.
