    The Shoebox Compressor

I've been using mine for years, rebuilding the o-rings about every 2-3 years. I have an early model, SN 017, converted to belt with the new pistons and brass valves. It doesn't really shut off at 4500 anymore but I never run it without being in the room. I usually run it without the cover and a desk fan pointed at the hot end. All seems to work just fine, as long as the input air is dried. I have gotten water in it before but that was solved with some inline filters. The built in bleed always gives me issues, so I put an inline bleed with fluid filled gauge to accurately and safely fill the tanks.

Do they even sell or make these anymore? I saw the F10 was released and I wanted to pick one up, but any place online says out of stock and I highly doubt they'll get more. Do you all still have and use yours?

The Chinese stole TK's work so he packed it in. Cant blame him.
I have an original either 001 or 002 that Tom gave me. Put the belt drive on and the silicone wicks and she will fill to almost 5000. Never changed the orings in years and it still works fine. Dont forget to oil the crank bushings!
