Clear bunkers?

dont know if someone said this but..

one idea of paintball in the future,to make it more crowd pleasing,is to use clear airball bunkers,they will coat the player's lens and the bunkers with some kind of photoplasmic thingy or whatever,so THEY cant see through them,but the crawd can..

They can make them clear, but, I dont think anyone has yet. Again, I think after a couple of games, they wouldnt be clear anymore. That said, a few clear bunkers would be cool. Mabe, the 50, then one on each 25, opposite sides; like one kneeling right side bunker, then one opposite side of the field, left kneeldown.

Build the clear field first. If it doesn't work out great you can always start to paint parts of the bunker afterwards. I have played on a field where the back center on both ends had a net window on the top of the bunker. It was a big help in identifying targets for my team mates. I like the idea and I say you should go for it.

A good idea would be to paint the whole thing a color except for a few inches around the top and sides so you could see out of it a little, but not get hit in the mask. It would make the game just a little harder.

yeah its great but when you look at it from one angle it looks realy weird so before every game(on that feild) the ref has every one walk it so it doesnt look so weird. also the owner got 2 differant color nets then spray painted differant numbers on them, just so it kinda mixes up the colors so its easyer to see the feild.

I think that with all clear bunkers, you'd see the number of marker and hopper hits increase, and the number of body hits decrease. Clear bunkers would allow people to just poke the barrel out from behind cover to shoot, and since they'd be able to see where the shots were going, they'd be able to correct for errors in aim.

I've played on a field that had a clear plexiglass sheet at the 50. It was good and bad. Good that you could tell when someone was in the bunker and when they were going to come out but bad because they were able to just sit there and tell their team what we were doing without any chance of being hit. To nutralize this I simply shot up the bunker so they couldn't see through it anymore.
