    E-mag: Macro or SS?

Any pro's or con's between the two on an E-mag? I'm primarily concerned with starving the valve. If SS is the way to go, I can get some shrink-wrap for it pretty easily.
I'm way too old for this ****.

    SS all the way.
Ever sence my macro burst at SCAO I'm all against it.
It couldnt even handle like 1000 psi..
SS handles like 3000 psi I think..
Get SS and use shrink wrap, or I'm going to try this stuff and see how it turns out..

and Ima use the electical tape stuff...

I like Macro. 1st you can bend it better, 2nd can cut it to correct size and 3rd Price.

if you are gonna get Macro i got one word for you.

I use SS simply because it's a lot tougher. I also like the fact that I can use a quick disconnect, which has turned out to be very convenient.

Go with SS. Here's what I'm doing once I get mine in a few days: valve - q/d - SS hose - proconnect - ASA on DZII - System X 88/45

i run a shop...let me tell you something. customer comes in with a marker and wants it fixed. if it has macro, i tell him i will NOT work on that gun until he puts SS line on there. 99% of the fittings used for MacroLine are not made to hold NEAR the pressure we make them hold for paintball....

is u go ss then get...

                    the ss line (10$)
                    two kapp 90 swivle (18$)
                    quich dissconnect (3-50$)
                    shrink (2$)

macro.. 12$ for a kit of 2 fitting (quick dissconect, swivle) and 3hoses..

u tell me what is the best way to go?

i Do indeed think ss with shrink is nicer looking but it is alot for a hose.

                    i use both

Why are you putting 1000psi into your macroline???? That is probaly why it burst. Also was it the marcoline that burst or did it just come out of the fitting?

                          Both.
It was an accident, I diddnt know how to work my adjustable reg, thats all
Anyway, SS could hold that much and thats the point..

i used macro on my emag for like a week. i hated it, went out and spent the money on a proconnect and used a long ss line. i am much happier with it. im not much of a fan of macros anyways.

Ok just wondering, because of user error your are advocating SS line. Just to make sure that it was your fault. Just sounded to me in your original post that the line just burst. I know now user error was the case.

I have used macro the extent of my paintball playing days albeit not that long I have never had macroline burst on me.
