Yep, both the kids and Pride wiped us pretty clean (we played as Team Mad Cow) The Pride game was pretty funny... I'd played against Timmy quite a few times before, and wasn't expecting us to really get anywhere. On the break, I ran forwards a little and managed to take Timmy out before he got to a bunker - pretty happy, I turned to the side to yell to our back guy that one was down. Noticing no one there, I turned left to yell to our front guy.. no one there either.

So while we took one out on the break, they took out my two team mates... happiness turned to a trip to the dead box pretty quickly

Was a good time though, and good experience! Don't think we ended up placing very highly (I can see us with only a couple of hundred points on the scoreboard) but we probably learned more in that one tournament than in the last few months of play Hopefully we'll get to play against you guys again sometime... and win

Another happy moment...

The spectators watching your first game got a good show. As Timmy was in a center standup looking right an opponent came towards him from the left. I don't know if either knew the other was there, but Timmy turned to check the left side with his gun ready while the other guy came around with his gun down. The result: a three foot elimination for Pride. They lost that game, but it was still fun to watch.

For those of you wondering, yes, the games were played on tennis courts. The whole facility holds about 4-5 of 'em, making enough room for a couple of good 3 man size fields. The staging areas and chrono range are set up in racquetteball courts.

To those who played it: how'd you get your traction? I've played there once and found it pretty slippery.
