The Presence of the Emag was Felt at the PGP tourney this Sunday.

My team had it's very first tournament as a team yesterday, and the second for me presonally, at Paint Games Plus in Springfield, MO. Actually it was really the first time we had played on the same team. Anyway, it was a 3-man and they had about 14 teams there.

We maxed 4 of our 6 games in the prelims ending up with 471 points going into the finals first in our division by 1 point. Woo Hooo!

In the finals, we maxed our first, got stomped the second game with only 5 points, and then maxed our last. We ended up finishing 1st with 205 in the finals. It was very exciting because we just came not expecting much.

Throughout the day I had a couple refs check my Emag for full auto , which of course I don't have, and several people interested in my emag as I was the only emag there and one of only 2 mags there.

There was supposedly someone from APG there yesterday taking pictures, so keep an eye out for Ozark Rage in the next issue.

Let me end with a final word.

    WOOOHOOOOO!

      What the....

      Hi,

You took an Emag out in a PGP tourney?(think about it) Don't you think it was a bit much shooting an Emag at guys with a 10 shots and a 12 gram?

Freshman Bob, niteHawk, and I played at the AO Day tourney for AODNJ 2 at PBX. We came in 4th in the prelims but we were out of first by 30 points. For a quick throw together team, we didn't do to bad. Our last 4 games we had really nice scores in the 90s

Congrats with the whole tourney thing. I used my E mag with a team down at World Cup. Come to think of it IHNI had 4 E mags on the team. Plus the nice think was Tom Kaye himself recognized me! I was so honored

      Later,
      Alan
Paintball cannot be that big. No one has really been able to sponsor a stock car or a race yet. (local people do not count in this case )

PGP does sound a bit odd now that I think about it. No really I was using my pump emag. I'll change it.

PaintGamesPlus... We will have a couple of teams there this weekend for the "Toys for Tots" 2 man.

Come on out We can see what you've got when you use a Talon (the tourney is giving each team 2 talons and 500 rounds) instead of your "Suspected F/A" EMag

          It should be a blast!

I was thinking about playing in that. I'm not sure if I'll be free though.

The funny thing is, the last game of the prelims we didn't need any points at all to get into the finals, so I was about to whip out my Phantom.

                Thanks Tom.

Also, what made it even sweeter was we beat the two home teams in the finals that were all toting cockers. They weren't too happy.

Yea, the home teams didn't like it when we beat em. Note to all you warp users: don't be like me and not install an on off. I had to change my battery real quick, and ended up ripping the battery wire from the board, middle of the finals. Good thing i can't chop, because i was shooting sideways as usual, and i stopped feeding for a bit.
