    GZ Timmy, Angel LCD, Emag

Which one? I know I've asked this question before (sorry ) but every time I see an Emag I want one... then I shoot an Angel LCD and want one... then pick up a GZ and well, you get the idea. I play front and I'm trying to keep total cost under 1200. I've been offered a 2k1 CnC Angel LCD with 44k shots, a ND 88/45 tuff skin, 10" boomy and stock barrel, and 12v. revvy for 950. It shoots very nice. I can get a GZ timmy w/ free revy for 1k and an Emag for 900 I think. What should I do?

        the GZ are good guns..

the last tourny I was at... there was 8 or so shooting different Angels, 5 shooting GZs, and 1 shooting EMAG..

it was cold as everything.... and the paint you could lob it at someone and it would bust when it hit them..
my emag didn't chop all day, but it gave me problems with the carriers... cost me a few games.

        the angels were breaking paint...

but the GZs had no problems.. not a single one...
so, I wouldn't have a problem telln' someone to get a GZ.. they are good guns..

          well, ive got all three

the angel is real nice...its a VERY stable shooting platform...with the cobra stick trigger, i can rip...BUT, fixing it means sending it off to theangelguy, or looking for a local angel tech (and there arent any here)...

the gz is also real nice...i just put a warp on mine...havent played with it yet...im getting to learn the trigger more and more, and one of these days i will have enough confidence in it to play a tourney with it

the emag is my tourney gun...its always there for me...never fails, chops, or runs home to mommy....

one VERY STRONG VOTE for the emag

I have had all three. Currently i still have the angel and the GZ. The gz is the best gun i have EVER owned. Yes I like it much better then my old emag. My angel is a great gun, but i dont like the fact that it can and does chop. I always worry about chopping on the field with the angel and it hinders my playing. With the gz i have no worries. If you were to get a gz i would recomoned a WAS board and a reaper trigger and a halo B. It is the fastest gun i have ever shot and it never chops.

I like the trigger on Timmys just as much as I like my Emag trigger, but they are really tall. Both are nice guns. Either way, you wont go wrong. Try to look for an Emag (if u decide to get one) that has a warp body and the profile will be insanely small. (and light, depending on the setup) or an SFL Emag. With Lvl 10, and a Halo B, fast reliable marker.

                      GZ ALL THE WAY!

get a gz off of pbnation used. i wouldnt suggest buying one new because they cost nearly $1000 and there have been some issues with the quality of construction.

you can get a gz off of pbnation with extras for a good price, and certainly under $1000. right now there is a silver2red2black fade up for CHEAP.

Gz is the best IMO, very gas efficent and accurate with good paint-barrel match.

Yea, listen to the guy that has a sig banner of "Automags Suck." at Automags Online. He must really know what he's talking about.

Well..I'm just about to do the hat trick and to have owned at one time all three of the markers you speak of.
I liked the Emag because it was just a Wagner paint sprayer. I could just shoot streams of paint at people but after I had it for a while I got bored with it. I considered an X-Mag but i'm not willing to wait ten years for one (yes, I know it's only a few months but I'm lazy and i have a short attention span; so there) And personally the more i see the X-Mag the less i like it. To me it's just an eMag in a pretty shell, it doesn't shoot any farther or faster or without anything much more than it's lighter and prettier. i'm 6'3" 240. An extra 1/2lb is not going to bother me. I used to shoot an all steel original minimag, go shoot that for a day and then try any other marker. It'll feel like a feather. it's all in perception.
Next, I had a Mamba IR3, which is a marker that is considered the Ferrari of paintball markers and you know what. I hated it. It was fast, it was light but the more I thought about the cost of it the more I realized that you can buy a marker at 1/3 the cost that is just the same in performace.
I'm currently looking at a GZ Timmy. I've always thought about Timmy's but at the time I thought the Classics were butt ugly. I actually like the new Clamshell GZ's and I'm one of the few people who really like the new Ironmen Timmy's (check my sig).
You can't really go wrong no matter which one you get. Any of the three is a good marker, it all just depends on your expectations of each marker. I'm a person who is hard to please and it actually frustrates some people that i go through markers so fast. I just haven't found the marker that really matches my style yet.
