Maybe that could be the next Anti-Drug message, 'Hey Kids, don't do drugs, just shoot people!'

yeah its a true addiction, once you get hooked your finances will never be the same the people that sell all there gear claiming to "ber leaving paintball for good" will come back, they all come back... and no one ownes a "finnished" marker...theres always that next part (LX, warp, barrel kit...always some reason max out the old visa). but when your out on the feild and hear the LX vent, your stackin ball on top of ball shootin cross feild, and then eliminate someone with an easy hopper shot your gonna walk off the feild smilin ear to ear. yeah its expensive, but always worth it
Tom was the last of a now extinct breed, a breed of players who build a community, a breed of owners who gave to the sport never taking more than what they deserved. I hope to see you at the feild again some day....

            Reffing to feed my addiction

I too thought that if i got a job reffing that it could fuel my habit, alas it was not to be. Simply by showing up and doing our job relialbly (if somewhat hung-overly at times) my self and my crew of friends has become the nucleus of the staff at our feild. This means serious trouble for everyon, last time we tried to play a tourny our employers were begging us to cancel and come to work. Now they finaly did bribe us by paying our entry into skyball but the moral of the story is don't get into a situation like that. If you're gonna ref for the purpose of playing, do so in moderation, above all do not allow yourself to become indispensable!

Emagster, do you still have the stock grip frame? If so, would you be interested in selling it?

It's too easy to spend tens of thousands of dollars...I've spent a buttload on five timmies and three mags, four cockers and a partridge in a pear tree...

I actually picked it up for 600...I'm pretty sure the previous owner never fired it but I may be the third or so owner. I emailed him and asked if i could take just the emag for 600 from his warp+emag package. He emailed me back saying he would ship the gun and warp out (horrible communication) and finally i got my emag right before AO NE day.

When i opened up the UPS package i pulled out the mag, warp, drop, sight, all american barrel...all of which i didn't need. With the help of the guys in the trading forum i was able to sell off 200 worth of extra gear that the guy gave me (check the sig ) That night I gassed it up and it fired great but the trigger magnet came unglued right away. I played all of AO day w/out a return magnet (what a bad idea!) and finally got some help from mossman getting the gun up and running. She works great now!

HAHA...bout the drugs and money thing...my parents are CONSTANTLY tellin me i spend WAY to much money on my gun. they're like...why dont you just be happy with it the way it is and save your money. i simply reply...well would you rather me pay for my gun or pay fr drugs...and their like..you wouldn't buy drugs and i just dont say anything to them about it and change the subject to give them that "uneasy" feeling...haha

oh...and that was just a "rough" estimate of how much it cost...diffenately on the under side of the price rage i got it for...

I find it best just to not think about the $ too much. I love it, it keeps me happy and in better shape. When you think of it that way you're really paying for quality of life and a longer life due to less stress and better health. In fact, if you don't spend more you might die sooner! Um...well....that's how I'm convincing myself to just go ahead and get an x valve.....
