    Halo A or B? How do I know?

    Just wondering if by looking at them you can tell the difference between the A (old one?) and B (new belt driven one?)

      there was some kind of lever thingy on the halo a feedneck and not on the halo b feedneck.

          Hard to say by just looking at them. If you can look inside the HALO the new ones have a beaded anti-jam spring, and a clear spring loaded drive cone.

                              Just remeber the B has the cooler looking drive cone, thats about it.

                                  The behavior of the button on the B version is also different.
                                  To put it on, you need to push 0,5s on it. To shut it off 2s. I don't think this was the way to put the A version on.

                                              For the time being, yes. $30 (or $50 if you want a new colored shell). There's detailed instructions on www.odysseypaintball.com on how to go about getting the upgrade. The HALO does need to be sent in for the upgrade, you can't do it at home.

                                                  i got a halo b off of ebay for 40$. i was ordering a halo a and he accedently sent my a halo b. i was so happy and now i know that its definatly a halo b
