I believe it would work all except for the fact that it probably wouldnt work on a powerfeed body. The sleave would have to be in two pieces unless you plan on putting it on before the powerfeed is welded on.
I think the answer to that is making it vertical feed with an angel threaded feed tube. This way it can be removed so that you to make the installation easier. Just remove the feed tube, slide on the new sleave, put the vert feed back on and the sleeve is locked in place. :)

I think it would look kinda crappy as a sleeve on a normal body. Just my opinion...
However, it would look great on an Xmag.
The milling would be sorta like a Kapp Flame cocker, where the chrome part wouldn't be milled all teh way through, but it would look like an inner lining. Sorta like a spearhead cocker too.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks too much like a Dragon Timmy? If anything, it would only be worth it on an Xmag. If you put a sleeve over the Emag you'd be making a heavy marker heavier.Comment

it looks a lot like the ripper timmy... I think its way different than the Dragons...
I dig it, I wonder if it could ever happen though?

It looks like a Ripper Timmy because that is where I got the milling pattern. I also figured that it would work best with a vetical feed but the picture I had was PF. I would probably look better on an X Mag but then you could not mill all the way through...I like the crome showing through. Or it could be a SuperMag design...( I think that was what the alum. body upgrades were going to be called) The battery pack would have a stainless sleave as well. Yes it would add weight but if you used a ULE rail and grip it probably would even out. I am a huge fan of Ripper style milling and would put my money down now if Tom wanted to do a batch of Ripper X-Mags....if not I'll probably end up buying one of those sweet C & C's instead.
I would really like to see some battery pack milling on the new X Mags though!Comment

That looks sexy! I would get one right away! I always loved the looks of a ripper timmy.set up: Micro e-mag with 32 degree chrome flame drop, Level 10, 88/4500 crossfire, 12 in CP, 32 degree whisper and ARADUS 14in barrel, EVO II.

im loving the ripper milling itself, but im not liking what its on. it just doesnt look right as a "sleeve' design. if you just took the NON CnC xtreme and ripper milled that, then we'd be cookin!! definitely good work though.Comment
