im prety sure they use a different hammer that attachs to the back block or something like that i forgot -
But how is it done? Does a lug protrude from the top of the hammer tube? Is there any adjustment like the cocking rod of a stock cocker? I have to know

Isn't that the cocking rod right there on the side of the gun. The rod that goes from the front block to the back block is what recocks it. If I know anything about Cockers, and I know a bit because my friend had one and he pretty much built it up from scratch and he told me everything about them, that should be the cocking rod on the side.

Thats the pump arm rod(in red), that moves that block and bolt. On a stock cocker the back block pulls the cocking rod(in white), which comes out the back of the gun. Half-blocks and micros don't have these, but without them, stock cockers won't work.Comment

well it doesnt attach to the hammer because then the hammer would be up against the valve when the bolt is shut into position its connected to a vertical cocking rod of sorts so the rod stays backComment

IIRC, there's a second lug on the hammer, protruding from the top. The back block has a notch that catches the second lug on its way back. That's how it's able to work without a cocking rod. There are three kinds of people in the world: Those who can count, and those who can't.
With understanding comes understanding.

the race gun half block has a lug that goes down from the top block down to the hammer. the fx micro cocker is different, the lug comes up from the hammer and goes into a slot on the top block, problem is, the fx version would pound out the top block (aluminum) and totaly screw up the cocking mechanism. in the race gun version, the lug catches the hammer which is made of stainless steel, which tolorates the constant puonding better.
Shane-OI have nothing good to put here...........

Yes, there are pics on www.warpig.com of the whole Halfblock system. It's under the Millennium series event reports. Can't remember which event but I think it was Amsterdam (Mayhem) or Toulouse (France). But I know they are there as I took em :)Originally posted by poopthatkilledelvis
does anybody have a top view pic with block and bolt removed?

from the judge in the WDP v Sp case.... " i find it significant that aside from a somewhat limited notebook produced by gaston, the four named inventors offer NO documentation of there work or there contributions to the conception or reduction to practice of the claimed invention"Comment

that is a pump arm which ALL Autocockers have. The Cocking rod is the rod that is screwed into the hammer. On halfback Microcockers, there are no cocking rods. There is a short rod on the inside of the bolt or the back block which pulls the hammer back internally so you no longer need a beavertail.Originally posted by polorboy
