Go with "X marks the spot". Not too wordy plus the thinking man can put two and two together and realize that treasure is often buried where the X is marked on the map

This goes along with Manike's theory that the marker will speak for itself. It will. That marker is probably the best looking one on the market.

I like the Xmag logo being left in the add. For simple slogans, how about:
