well guys, so far we can create an inflatable furniture and holliday character field. Im all for it and think i will be setting one up some time soon! the thing is, the santa's are made out of thin nylon, the inflatables, well there made out of a vynl like structure, and will not rip easily, also every ball into the santa, will probably make it deflate a little bit, unblike the sup air bunkers. You could probabally deflate santa on your opponet and get him out...
inflatables why so high

i even cranked my vlocity at the end

I asked for one for christmas
My yard is already relitivally good for 1 on 1, and we have a chrono, and with one of these babies I could have some serious fun

well i work with those things all day and know a bit bout em. theyre not worth that much but for such a high demand, yet low production item they people have to make a profit. im not defending them, its still a bit high, and its pretty easy to make. just get some thick material, heat seal it together in a pattern and your done, and slap a valve on. i reckon it costs em 30 to make em totally. over all, im gonna have to say its because they can.

the kapp bunkers, i think we got ours from NPS though, and we're pissed off at them, they sent us used ones, well some of em. several have patches on em and we had one split right along the seams. pissed off but all we have to do is send them back.
heres how i think a santa clause inflatable would work
1)if it was one that had an included air pump in it and it pumped the air continuously with an air outlet at the top, so it had a constant flow of air. this would work because
a)everytime the paintball would hit the force would be taken by the air exiting the thing, and then the pump would just fill it back up
2) if it was one that was not fully inflated, im thinking like it was a bit saggy, which would work because there would be more room for the fabric or plastic to move to take up the force.
