    Video cost?

I'm a bit confused. In the FAQs here, it says:
I bought my Mag used and it didn't come with a video or owners manual. How can I get those?

Register your Mag at www.airgun.com and in the comments box state that you need the video and owners manual. They will be sent to you at no charge.
On the registration part at airgun.com, it says:
Use this box if you need to request a manual and/or video. Manuals alone are free of charge. Each video costs $4.00, and there is a $5.00 shipping/handling charge for videos (with or without manuals), payable upon receipt.
Which one is right? Either way, they should fix the other one, as it's misleading.

    And yes, it's that good.

You would have to go with the airgun one because its where you have to order it from. That should be fixed though, it is misleading

I got this in my e-mail box:

      Dear Tim--

The pricing on videos and shipping has recently changed. Until yesterday,
no one here in the front office was aware that getting videos free was
mentioned on Automags.org. The Automags.org FAQs will be updated as soon as
possible. We were rather chagrined to learn about this, needless to say!

Please let me know if you do or do not want the video at a total charge of
      $9.00, payable upon receipt.

      Figures, oh well.

I just want to see a visual guide on how to field strip my marker. I've done some searches and can't seem to find anything, and I know the Automag RT is different than most others, so that doesn't help matters.

        Yeah,
I'm pretty sure the FAQ's was from "back in the day", with all the new mag designs/etc its not just one universal book/video anymore, they dont have as many of em laying around .. ya know?

        Sincerely,

My AGD video is from 1991, its very comprehensive though, and its level 7 and everything like that
But I guess the RT one would be different and much, much newer

It's the old RT, not the RT Pro.

                Yeah I know ...

What I was saying is when they initially used the "free replacement" policy it was probably cause they only had the Classic/PF and Minimag available, adn they're all similar.... but now that they have the classic, mini, rt, rt pro, emag, etc its not the same video anymore so they just dont have em in stock like they used to when they were all the same video.

                Thats all ...

                Sincerely,
                Dave K

Anyone know anywhere where there is a walk through with or without pics on how to field strip the Automag RT? Or any automag for that matter?

First, all mags field strip the same way!! The only difference being on the original RT, the field strip bolt is a hollow banjo bolt!! Also, you can download the manual in .pdf format from the AGD website, and $9.00 is pittance for the amount of information contained in the video!!

                    Stay tuned for Pics!!!

I was having trouble finding the information I was looking for. I got it though. I just hadn't pulled the trigger to get it to pop out.

I'll still probably get the video, but I was trying to strip it so I could clean it out for this weekend, and I'm glad I did as it was filthy.
