Fort Campbell/Clarksville Area players honored!!!

On monday night several recreational players and memebers of Team Sinister Sainthood, were honored at an awards banquet. Close to 60 individuals supporting the sport attended, including several parents, and players along with the director of Moral Welfare Recreation department at Fort Campbell.

The first set of awards went to all the players that helped with the Craig Village event in October. The awards were given out according to how many days they helped, from 1 day to 4 days. Several individuals volunteered with the setup, execution, and cleaning of the event.

The next set of awards went to the members of Team Sinister Sainthood. for all the volunteer work they put into the field. It was said that these individuals volunteered for over 1400 hours this past year, in the upkeep, building, refereeing, and various other jobs that was needed to make the field and sport grow.

The last award was presented to Team Sinister Sainthood, which came as a complete shock to them. This was a large eagle holding an American flag, perched on a base. On the base was a bronze plaque engraved with the following:

"Sinister Sainthood Paintball Team
Thank you for all your hard work to promote the sport of Paintball. Be assured we have your back. Fort Campbell Paintball."

This was a great banquet, and everyone there had alot of fun. Congratulations to all who received these awards, you all deserved them.

Wow, very cool. Congrats Sinister Sainthood!

HOOAH to Ft. Campbell for being open minded, and physically secure enough, to allow and host the Craig Village games.

For those who may not know, Craig Village is the MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) range on post. Troops regularly use paintball gear in the Village to further train up for combat.

The Ft. Campbell big game, is now an annual affair with hundreds of players coming onto base with their gear.

Army you were at Craig, cool. Which day did you play, from the pics it looks like sunday? Most of Sinister Sainthood reffed on Sunday, I played. I did my duty on saturday. I looks like it is going ot happen again this year.

Nope, I was there many years ago...and not for paintball!

The ladies at the Moral and Welfare office contacted me last year, to help get the word out about the Village game. I suppose someday I can catch a Space-A flight and get there to play
