I was at the agd europe site looking around and saw they had x mags for sale. I wanted to know if they are ready to ship there, and if so why does europe have them already. Also while looking at the pics i noticed the x-mags didnt have the x-valves in them from what i could see, and they dont come with lvl 10s stock. O ya and they charge 18% sales taxes which is friggin crazy.
So i guess AGD was just testing the waters in the good old UK first.

second, we here at AO have a handy search feature which when used will get you most info on the whole xmag situation and many other things you may need to know.

third, the answer is that agd us got the level 10 to make and agde got the xmag. they agde site, though, wont ship to the US so you have to have friends in europe to order from them.

The 17.5% sales tax is our standard tax and we pay it on almost everything! It's one of the things that makes this country expensive to live in. And playing ball expensive as compared to the USA

The pics on AGDE's site are all very early ones from before the Almuninium X-valve was available. They all come with the Aluminium X-valve now.

All X-mags come with Level 10 as stock. You only have to pay extra here for Level 10 if you are doing an E-mag to X-mag upgrade.

AGDE makes the X-mag bodies and modules etc. That's why they were out here first.

Also there are less ballers in Europe so the limited supply is better to fulfil the demand here and so it's easier to get an X-mag in the UK at the moment than it is in the USA.

Thanks for the good serious answer, they are had to come by sometimes at AO, especially with guys like "yeahthatsme" who welcome members that have been here longer then themselves. Thats pretty cool how you guys have x-mags now, but it must suck paying that tax on everything, paintball cost to much as it is.

anyways...They have been on sale here in the U.S,but only at events such as the PSP World Cup. I can't wait for those suckers to get on sale over here so I can scoop one up.

AGDE got the xmag and AGD US got the x-valve. I think Tom said that all the money from sales off of AGDE site goes to AGDE and not the US and vise versa. There are other reasons but I can't remember right now.

I don't think he did. AGD makes money on every mag sold in the world where ever it is sold. AGDE only makes money on mags sold in Europe.

Both have the x-valve now.

from what i understood, heres a typical mag sale(numbers are fictional)

AGD's cost to make one Automag: $100
AGD's wholesale price to dealers: $180
MSRP: $240
AGD Europe's price: $140

AGD has to be able to sell the Mag to europe at a price when you add in customs fees, shipping and everything else,AGD europe AND AGD usa can make a profit
