IS ReTro valve different than the RT PRO valve?

This Q has been asked before I know it.. but plz calrify for me. With the exception of the automag RT, will all AGD valves fit in all bodies? (i.e. classic valve in RT PRO or Emag body, RT PRO valve in classic/minimag body). I do know that the Automag RT is no longer made because this was a problem... so Just to clarify, RT PRO valve is EXACTLY (to the last detail) the same as the retro valve and thus will fit in a classic mag.

try a search next time, but yes they are identical except for the laser engraving on the side.

there is a difference between the retro/RTP and the emag, and it lies in the on/off pin. the length of the on/off pin in an emag is shorter than the retro/RTP due to the added solenoid, and there is a different oring that surrounds the bottom of it, called the quad oring. tom told me (and smoken ) that there is a specific reason behind it to solve a specific problem.

so if you have a friend with an emag, and decide to borrow his valve, be prepared for a positive surprise!

This is totaly correct but I just wanted to make sure it didn't confuse you.

Smoken was right when he said that the Retro valve and the RT-Pro valve are exactly the same except for the words on the side. Both the Retro and the RT-Pro valve will fit in your Classic Mag.

Now with that said, Schnitzel is talking about a third valve. It is also exactly the same size as the Reto/RT-Pro valve and the only difference (as he said) is the On/Off assembly.

Basicly, all three valves will work in your classic Mag but the E-Mag valve will be very reactive (probably a little too much) while only the E-Mag valve will work properly in the E-Mag unless you change the on/off assemblies of the other two (and this is pretty easy to do with a couple of parts from AGD)

The RT valve works the same as the others but is a different size and will not fit in anything other that an RT.

Are you sure? If this is right it might answer a question that's been bothering me. (see my new post)

              ReTro's use a .745 on/off pin, the RT Pro a .765, and the E-Mag/X-Mag a .712 (or .725 in some older E-mags).

On/off pin length is very important. Any one of these 3 valves will fit in any AGD gun (other than the RT and Sydarm). But...if the on/off pin isn't the proper one, the valve may not work properly.

All 3 valves are the same (Retro, RTPro, E-Mag), but ship with different on/off pin or on/off assemblies. These assemblies are interchangeable.

The X-Valve is identical to the above valves, except for being made from aluminium.

The RT valve is internally identical, but uses a different air routing and will not fit in a non-RT marker.

accually there is another diffrence, the old school RT has a hole in the botom of the valve for air to flow thru and requires a bajobolt (holds in the valve while alowing air flow) all other valves (classic, rtp, emag, xmag) have holes comming out either side of the valve.

How do you know if you are using the optimum on/off pin length for your setup?

it shoots one shot per pull.

as fas as recognition by sight, you can't truly tell for certain unless you measure it with a set of calipers.
