    DVD instructional video?

hey, are there any plans on making the old mag instructional video into a DVD? or an updated or new instructoinal vid on DVD? itd be a good idea to keep up with the times
My parents wont give me $3,300 to spend on paintball which would make me the happiest person in the world, but they will spend $3,300 on me for braces for a year and a half which will just make me miserable... i just dont get it

Already been discused. Not a good idea. What if someone doesn't have a DVD player? Alot of peopel still don't..And it would cost some cash to do it all over again and on DVD.

Actualy, DVDs are cheeper to produce than videos by a significant ammount, so the only cost would be the initial one. Also, DVDs are the future. In fact, pretty soon, Blockbuster will stop carrying videos. DVD players this past year have sold more than VCRs have sold in ANY year of their existance.

They probably should update it, perhaps even include a how to install a Level 10 on it. I don't know, I've never seen it yet my self. With a DVD, they could include how to maintain every single valve on one DVD, as well as extras like Level 10 instalation, and any other how to's that may be good (Maybe an Intelliframe intellifeed how to, etc).

          And yes, it's that good.

Might as well make it multi-media and take the diagrams from AO to show operation.

It wouldn't even have to be burned to DVD. You could just encode a CDR in MPEG2 and make a short DVD. It would probably end up being 12 min. long.

the movie is very, very, very informative and it tells you how to take every single piece apart in your gun and put it back together. But its sooooooooooooooooo old, nitro and revys were just prototypes then (really cool to see though in the movie scary looking things)

DVD's are much cheaper to produce, all you do is stamp them... low material cost, once you get it set up you could have it running very cheaply. Dont let the prices of DVD's fool you, thats the recording industry making a 1950% profit

I think they should go DVD too, or at least include a VCD that you can select diagrams/etc for your PC

Personally, I dont even own a VCR ..lol

                Sincerely,

I like the DVD idea too, there's so much you can do with them.

FalconGuy - keep in mind all the labor costs involved with creating the content that goes on the disc. This is something I have a hard time getting people I deal with to understand...

After actually having a DVD replicated, whoever buys the video wholesale can actually "make" as much as I do and they don't have any production costs to cover. Its actually quite frustrating.
