    Do impulses need to run on nitro?

    Do impulses need to run on nitro? My friend has the opportunity to buy one, but he cant get nitro for a while, is it allright to run it on c02?

    They are made to run on a Co2 hooked up on a max-flo reg of some sort or a max flo nitro

            Impulses love CO2, just get an antisiphoned tank and you should have no problems. And with that max-flow you will stay fairly consistent.

            (oh and if you haven't already you might want to invest in an on/off valve for your CO2 tank because for some reason the horizontal maxflow doesn't like screw in tanks)

              Yes, they love CO2. But, you DO NEED to buy a on/off valve and anti-siphon. No on/off I belive can ruin your max flow anf gun.

                dont know how missing the on-off will HURT the maxflow, but a Impy will be cool as a clam if you feed it Co2

                  If you are going to run co2, first go out and make sure you have a nitro tank. The imp will run much better on air than c02, co2 is alot harder on orings and such on the gun. If you are going to stick with co2, you have to get an on/off and an anti siphon, for the gun to run it's best.

                    actually you need a on off or a spacer o ring on the screw in max flow or else the pin depreses the nipple to early

                          impys.. that are LP the co2 can NOT boil at i think in the 150's. There for u would be better off with co2. More shots out of a smaller compasity. End of story
