TK how did you create the Automag?

Hey I am thinking about starting my own line of guns when I get through school, and I was wondering how you (Tom) went about making the Automag. I know it was first a Panther or whatever, names aren't important, I'm just curious as to how you designed and physically created your first gun. Thanks

      what other things jk

i was thinking about doing the same thing. i think that it would be a good marketing choice to do so, because the paintball world is expanding and there is no stopping it, besides those damn states that outlawed pb.

I believe he started with 2 pounds of flour, 5 eggs, 4 cups of sugar, a tablespoon of yeast and a quart of water.

But I'm not too sure on that....

            thanks bill

from what i know, he tried two blowback designs but realized its faults(jeez, all this spyderdom could have been avoided if everyone was as smart as TK back in the day...oh well) and moved on to blow forward....the rest as we say is history

if i remember correctly, the faults with the original blowbacks just had to do with the fact it was missing a few orings (so HORRIBLE blowback, much worse then today) and then there was some dealy where the body was connected at the back damaging the cocking rod.

                Quote from TK
" I'm sorry but when it comes to getting into
the paintball business I have to be terribly honest. DON'T DO IT. The
business sounds romantic and fun but like most jobs when you do it every
minute of every day it loses its original appeal. "

If you make your hobby your job you have to find a new hobby.

Don't know where it came from but it's very much true.

I forgot but when the first automags came out there were like level 6... all those other levels were other designs and ideas which kinda came together to make the automag.

                    .
