    A/C Pump Arm Question

While being careless while cleaning my 96 Bob Long autococker, I broke the threaded end of my clippard ram. Since it was old and the pump arm is old (and rusty) I didn't care too much and bought a chrome STO ram and stainless pump arm. It doesn't fit.

On my old (stock) pump arm and clippard there were 3 sections: 1 the ram with a threaded male end, a 1 inch double female threaded part, and then the double male threaded cocking rod. The new STO ram has a male threaded end, but the stainless cocking rod is female and male. No middle piece. And incedentally the setup is about 0.5-1 inch short. Whats going on? Has the pump arm length changed or what?

    Thanks,

    Thomas

Maybe its a minicocker cocking rod? But im sure youve had a cocker long enough to realize that...so...Thats my only guess at this point?

The length hasn't changed, but pump/cocking rods are 1 piece now. They gave you a minicocker rod (Which is roughly 1 inch shorter).
