Does the alluminum in the xvalve have disadvantages over a stainless steel one? I could actually buy a level 10 and a retro cheaper than it is in the store.

They may be a bit more expensive, but when you factor in that it will have a higher resale value, they even off. (For instance, you buy the LX and Retro new for $285 and they sell for $250, you buy the X-valve for $325 and sell it for $290. You lose $35 on both items, so they come out equal.)Comment

strongboy, if you lose the same amount of money for both options, wouldnt it be better to go for the cheaper one that would last longer anyways? I guess the only thing you would buy an xvalve for is for the looks or if you are trying to make an ultralight gun.Comment
