There is a new paintball field opening up in Racine, Wisconsin called BLACKRAIN PAINTBALL. Projected date of opening is Jan. 4. The field is located at 1614 South Street. You can find it behind the Dairy Queen on Douglas Ave. Call 262-752-0077 for more info. If anybody has any suggestions, let me know!! Racine has had a bad reputation with fields, they don't stay open very long. Give me some ideas on how to make this one last.

Paintball Sam's has been operating in Racine,
for over 15 yr's
I think you mean Racine has a reputation for,
Indoor Field's not lasting long.

Yep
I know Rick, I've been playing at Sam's for about 5 years, I'm sure you'd recognize me if you saw me. But yeah, indoor fields is a more appropriate term. I meant the actual city of Racine, not the county. The aldermen do NOT like paintball, so it's always been an uphill battle for fields. Racine Paintball is the only field close by, and they are NOT safe at all. They don't wear their goggles down on the field, they have no barrel plugs in the staging area, and it's a totally unsafe environment to play. Granted, Sam's is in Racine county, but it's about a half hour drive there. By the way Rick, if the insurance company for Sam's says it's O.K, there will be another tank in Big Game 1.........courtesy of the Crimson Men.

Is that the dairy queen right near Hwy 31? Or am I messing up my Hwy-#-to-Racine-street-name mappings here
I'd definately be interested in checking out a field so close to home

It opens on the 4th. There currently isn't a website, yet. It is definatly worth checking out. Like I said before, call 262-752-0077 for questions/details. And any AO members who are coming, look for me at the field. I will be a ref with "SMOKE" written on my jersey.
Thank you for your interest!!!!
