    It's possible but not cheaper than just buying a tank and regulator already together from centerflag.

      Sure, you can buy tanks and regs separately (I'm not sure if the centerflag reg is available separately - but probably yes)

      It's just not cheaper but usually more expensive...

        If you can find a really good deal on a tank..
        I do believe you can get a center flag 4500 regulator for less than $250. I made a mistake when I bought a 32degree 114 4500 tank..the 32 degree reg gave me shootdown and erratic velocitys. I switched to a centerflag mo. 201 and everything is fine.

              It'll be more expensive, plus it will be complicated. Get one from Ebay is you want to get a used one. THere are some awesome deals out there.
