    need some advice

    my situation:
i play mostly rec, speedball, usually against whatever teams are practicing that particular day. may enter an occasional novice 3 man.
do not play more than 12 times a year.

    my gear:
bone stock minimag w/a little bling on it(drop, foregrip etc.) run hpa

i have @ 325.00 burning a hole in my pocket.

    do i:
    get lvl10 and an intelliframe

    get an xvalve

im a little concerned about the aluminum threads in the xvalve. that is a prime wear area, especially with the recoil of the valves operation. potential for egging out the hole.

a level 10 retrovalve would be ideal, i like stainless. this is the last marker i buy, i want it to last. thats why i chose agd. i will stick by it forever. anybody think i will need to shoot faster than the AIR on a double trigger with no chops?

            id say this:

Go Retro program = $225 and comes with LX when you send in your old valve

IFrame = $110. get an extra $10 and get ALL OF THAT!!!!

            thast my opinion

get the level 10 and intelliframe first. If you are not playing in to many tournies where it really counts then wait on the retro valve.
If the aluminim valve on the x-valve concerns you then buy online or sweep the forums for a stainless model, they are out there.

I am not going to worry about the valve threads on the x-valve wearing out. If they do, off to AGD it goes. Threaded collar press fittings work wonders when needed

Sell the mini and put the money towards a new gun. If you want to stay with AGD get a RT-Pro it has retro and intelli already (you can find them used in the 400 range). This is my own personal opinion and will probably get flamed but I am not really a big fan of Level 10. Before I got my centerfeed E-Mag I shot a powerfeed Old style RT. I never ever not even once chopped a paintball. The powerfeed compensates nicely for the blowback of the retrovalve. When I moved to the centerfeed I started chopping once or twice a day. Level 10 fixed my chopping in the centerfeed nicely but in trade uses more gas. I am on the verge of getting rid of my level 10 and putting a halo-b on my gun. (It may just be me doing the wrong thing but: My level 10 has been nothing but a hastle for me. My gun refuses to fire at times. I have gotten numerous bits of advice off of the forums here. I have gone down carriers. I have tinkered till I am tired of tinkering. I want my $900 gun to just work. I am at a place now where it only refuses to fire on the first shot of the day or the first shot after it has been idle for a little while. To me thought this is still unacceptable. I am not the only one I know of who is having level 10 problems. I have a buddy with a RT-PRO who's gun is on its second trip to AGD to get the L10 to work in his gun. Sorry for the rant I have just been holding this inside... ) If I had 500 and needed a marker I would buy an Impulse. They shoot very nice right out of the box.

                      thanks all

for the advice, you are all as divided as i am. i have thought it through.
btw, i am a 34 adult male married 2kids house etc. money is not really the object, but i have many hobbies and try to budget them all.

im going for the level10 and the intelliframe, it seems like a good start, if i crave more speed ill grab a retrovalve later. i like the idea of being able to run co2 if for some remote reason i need to(like a little outlaw with some friends, compressor not working at the field etc.)if i trade in my valve i wont have that option.

spongebob... yes it is pretty!im into instant gratification and dont feel like taking a loss on my current investment. but that cocker looks nice. good price too.

my AIR with LX and the double trigger should shoot as fast as the average higher end cocker, no?
