AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Would adding an on/off switch to a warpfeed void warranty?
I think it probably would but the warp warrantee isnt that important. If anything goes wrong chances are the replacement part would be cheaper than sending the warp in for repairs. Shells are the only expensive part, and they arent covered by warantee and wont break because of the switch.
PS. there isnt much you can screw up with the switch install anyhow. Good luck.
Have a safe n happy new year.

If you were really worried about voiding the warranty, then you could just use the battery wires for the on/off switch.. e.g. cut one of the wires going to the battery cap thing and make the on/off come off that. then if you needed to use the warranty you could replace that wire or something easy like that.
definately voids it. the reason being if they allowed you to do the switch, people might think other mods are allowable too. the switch itself cant be messed up though...
