    The exploding Minimag....

Ok, now that I have your attention, let me tell you what happened.

I was a freind's house test firing some paint through my Minimag. We gassed and loaded it up. Up to this point everything seemed normal.....untill I pulled the trigger.

When I did so, I sprung a massive leak out of the rear of the gun. Air was hissing violently into my face and I barely had the pressense of mind to unscrew the bottle. For a split second I thought the gun had exploded!

Examination after the incident showed that the "quick-release" had somehow come un-done and caused the violent failure. I simply reattached the hose and the gun works fine once again.

However I am puzzled. Why didn't the leak occur when the gun was first gassed up? Does this represent a more serious problem or was it a one time accident? anyone else had this happen?

mabye the pressure fluctuation when the gun shot was violent enough to blow the hose off in the connection was weak

      i agree

as FalconGuy016 it probably was the firing that did it in. many bad things happen when that trigger is pulled in my experience...

btw i may just be ignorant but when you say "quick-release" what are you referring to. whatever it is if it blew off from pressure sounds like time to replace it

i suspect you didnt have the disconnect completely locked. just give the line a good tug when ever you reconnect it after disassembly.
