Looking for a rookie team in the KC area
I am 14 rite now but will be 15 at the end of may. I want to play on a rookie team in the KC area so I can get lots of practice and experience under my belt. Right now I am short on money cuz I am buying mag upgrades. If any teams are having tryouts be sure to tell me.:)

I believe Richard Peel is still involved in paintball in the KC area. That is with whom I got my start (with the KC Wrecking Crew) and from what I understand he is still a player in the market. He had Lone Wolf Paintball field by the horse track about 10 years ago, you may want to start with folks like him.
To be honest, it would be better for you to start a rec team and enter into a few 3 of 5-man local tournaments. That's a great way to start. Just keep the attitude to a minumum. I am often amazed at how most players your age act on the field...I would never ask them to my team regardless of their talent.

In a word: rude. I cannot tell you what distance you can cover by acting as courteous as you can to all others. Play as aggressively as your style dictates, but leave that on the field. Foul language and poor attitudes are the rule rather than the exception for those in your age group and you would serve yourself well be avoiding these traps.Comment

Believe me. I never have cheated EVER. I am sometimes playing with friends and occasionally think of wipin cuz my friends are noobs and the games last forever. Anyways I never do cuz its unfair. I respect the rules. Yep. Thats the best you can do on the field.Comment
