AGD shortened my On/Off Pin... Why?

I sent my Emag back a few weeks ago for some repairs, and as one of the updates, they shortened/switched my On/Off pin. I think it went from .725" to .712". What does this do for the gun? Does it have to do with reactivity? I think the receipt also said they switched my on/off top? How about that?

Shortening the on/off pin does make it go more reactive. I had a shortened one in my old RT and i used to have it go runaway quite often. When i put in a longer one, i was able to shoot it like a normal gun again.

My girlfriend said that if i bought another paintball gun, she'd leave me........ I sure am going to miss her.

the .712 is what the emag is ment to have...

the question is where did you get the .725

did it shoot at all before the changed it?

Isn't the .725" the length of the pin in the Retro and RT pro valves? I know they're the same valve, but I thought there was a difference in pins. And yeah, it shot in RT mode, I didn't use it much, but it shot.

the .725 is correct for an rtp

the .712 is for the emag.. and it should have a quad oring in there as well

            RT Pro's use a .765 on/off pin.

            Newer E-mags use .712 pins.

Older E-mags used a .725. As the older Emags come into the factory we mill out the on/off hole in the valve. This allows the installation of a quad oring surrounded by a powertube oring. As part of this update, the aluminum on/off top is replaced with a brass version with slightly different dimensions. Also, the .725 pin is replaced with a .712.

Around what serial # did you guys start doing this? Just out of curiosity. Also, what effect will this have on the gun?
