    x-valves tourney leagal?

i got mine in yesterday, and noticed that the velocity adjustment screw doesn't have extrenal threads for a lock. can you lock it, and if so, how? if you can't lock it, doesnt that make it illeagal in tourney's? i kinda find it hard to beleive that it wouldn't be, especially cause they go on the x-mags too, and not having an x-mag tourney leagal, if you ask me, that's just dumb

You need a tool to adjust them, so I don't see why they would be tourny illegal. It should follow the same rules as the E-mag/RT Pro.

    And yes, it's that good.

      Tru....

Ya would need a hexkey to ajust the velocity on any mag.... and it would be obvious if u were doing it during a game... so I wouldnt worry bout it... unless one would be that ignant to do that, but nobody is that dumb...

hmmm isn't it kind of easy to cheat the system with an Emag though? like you can turn up your tank pressure all the way up, then set it in E so when the reff checks it or watches you shoot, it's fine but then when you need some major paint in the air, boom click it to M (hybrid) and shoot away! Am I the only way that has thought of this?

thee refs are supposed to check them in manual mode, because they have to use the RT chrono procedures.

also, your tanks input pressure is supposed to be locked.

well even on the classic A.I.R. valves, they had to be adjusted w/ and allen key, but you need a cap to lock them down w/ in order for them to be considered tourney leagal.

                yes, XValves are tourny legal:
NPPL 5.23: "All regulators require tournament caps such that they can not be adjusted without a tool..."

that means, as long as you cant adjust it without a tool, its elgal

Just like the RT, The RT-Pro, Emag and ReTro are all legal.

There is no difference now that the valve is slightly lighter. The velosity adjustment has not changed.
