Wow...boy did i ever have fun today playing paintball. Not only did i waste $50 and 1000 paintballs in less than 3 hours, but as my friend was trying to turn down the pressure (he's getting a mag soon) on my Geddon regulator, he couldn't figure out why it wasn't unscrewing. So, me being the idiot that i am, i decided that the screw was just stuck, i had slid into a bunker pretty hard and got a ton of dirt in it, so i proceeded to try and turn it as hard as possible, in the wrong direction. this blew my macroline, almost taking off my hand in the process and really really making it hard for me to hear. Just thought i'd share that story with everyone...my real question is, did i do any damage to my reg? or my gun for that matter. my body is replacable...the mag, now she's a different story.:D
Boom goes the macroline

I have heard some horror stories before dealign with n2...
"This guy was in his garage, fiddling with his gear. He had his nitrogen tank sitting on the bench leaning against a gallon or paint (NOT attached to gun). He did something (I have heard 2 versions.. 1 was that he knocked it off, 2 was that his cat was rubbing its head on it) and it fell off the beck.. snapping the valve and shooting the tank through his car windshield." I luaghed my *** off when I heard this.
"A man was travelling to a scenario game in Jersey. He has his 68ci tank with his gear in bags at the airport" now heres where the story chages. Again.. 2 versions. 1)" The baggage handlers took it, and supposedly "verified" it was empty. they didn't. As they are putting into the big containers to put on the plane... it gets dropped, and again.... it hits hte ground on the valve and boom... "
2) "The man claims the tank is empty.. and the hadlers goto check it out. They goto test it and find otu its full... he gets arrested for trying to smuggle hazardous objects onto an airliner."
Im not sure if either one of those stories are true... I don't use N2 so i dont know if the valves can burst if hit hard like that...-Vegeta

Will steel braided work as well with N2? i heard something about steel not allowing air flow, which sounds like a crock of bull because...co2 is air, and it flows too, so why would it make a difference? i learned my lesson...no me gusta el geddon.

I had macroline go kablewy on me also and I was running co2. It was a warm day(85 degrees or so) and after about two games, I set my mag down to get a drink of water and *POW*, a big bang and a bunch of hissing. It emptied my 20 oz tank in 5 seconds flat! This was the first day I played after installing the macroline, too. I think I'm going back to stainless braided line.Comment

LOL, first day with my mag, right? They were supposed to send me macroline, I get MICROLINE. Now neither one of these are good for CO2 which I was using at the time. Now before the game starts it explodes! I throw down the gun and we all stare at it until it empties itself. I couldnt find my extra microline hose, never did find them either. So I used a spyder that day, and had to wait a while to use my mag till I got a new hose setup!

I had microline blowout on me once. When it did, the fitting where the hose had blown out of broke apart. The small piece that bites into the hose under pressure shot out and hit me in the knee. It shot threw my cargo pants and put a hole in me knee which proceeded to bleed all over. It hurt like a %#@$%&$**#& *#&*&$($.... well you get the idea. Anyway, I have been using macroline every since and haven't had any problems.I've got quite a gut, I'm no spring chicken, but I can still play with the best of 'em. Oh, and by the way, that's my paint you're wearing.Comment
