    power tube tip question...

why isnt there an o-ring on the OUTSIDE of the PT tip?

it seems to me like without one, air would be vented off into the space between the bolt and the valve body, reducing efficiency. is this negligable, or is there some other reason why there isnt a 'ring there?

isn't it becuase the on/off assembly is cutting off the flow of gas through the power tube until the trigger is pulled?

no. when the bolt is foward, there is nothing to prevent air from escaping around the outside of the powertube past a good fit. thats what i was asking about.
