    Drop Forward or Not

How many of you like to play with a large drop and how many of you like to play without a drop?

I would not call mine a large drop, but it is a drop. I like how it brings everything in tighter. My Wife's marker also has a drop on it, and so does my Son's.

I would say if you are trying to decide for yourself you should try shooting the same type of marker with and without a drop. It is all a personal thing....

How you hold and shoot your marker dictates how stable it is, not just if you have a drop or not.

I prefer a teeny drop if any at all. I like using the tank as a stock to steady the gun whenI aim. It still puts the back of the valve about a half inch from the end of my mask.

I like a 2 inch or so drop on a 68/88 stubby tank. Of course it depends on the gun, i've got a maxflo clamp on a raptor 88 stubby on my RT mag, and it feels GREAT.

i also have a small SP drop (i think it is at least), on my angel and with a 68 tank its a nice size.

If i got a 45/45 I think I'd prefer no drop, however i also like the down aspects of drops to not get in the way of your wrist when you hold your gun tight

I just went from a kapp teardrop (~1 inch) to a normal/long? shocktech w/a duckbill asa on it. Puts my 68/3000 in a perfect spot for me, about the same place as a railmount (reg right under the frame) but a couple inches lower, so I don't have to hunch my shoulders to sight down the barrel. so... i'd say small/medium with a screw-in, none w/an adjustable.

I dislike ALL drops. A rail is the way to go.
