Why was the No-Rise height changed?

Why was the No-Rise height changed? The Chicago NPPL proto has a slightly shorter neck than the production ones.

Is it because Odyssey didn't want us hacking up our feed necks?

Too difficult to add the locking collar on the shorter proto length?

Correct, the super low rise was mechanically unstable and likely to fall off.

I thought multiple image signatures (hereto refered to MIS) were allowed as long as they were a COMBINED less than 15K? Did I miss-read the new rule? It does say sig picS...

Could you please clarify?
