    Staggered and Flaming!

Of course, with the flame neck someone has to do a flame ano on one of these.

Staggered standard. But unless it's going to be clamping, I'm buying a Roughneck feedneck. When can I place my order for a black one?

          Better

This thing's looking better every minute. Question: What type of feed tube is being used? Can you give the option of the Angel Gate Feed? I mentioned this in another post but a gate feed would be a huge benefit on a Mag, and I'm not sure but High Rise would be a great option as well. Looking good guys, a trade in for old bodies and a nice low price is all you need to make it perfect

                Progressive and no flames, please.

IMO, the staggered looks too uneven with the feed neck in the way. If the feed neck wasn't there, the staggered would look sweet, but since the feed neck is a permanent fixture I'd go with the progressive that appears to flow from top to bottom.

The flames just say bandwagon to me. Heck, I'd almost say leave the feed neck plain, and if someone wants tear drops or flames machined in, that's something they can do with their own dime. Don't force something down on everyone.

With that being said (this is a thread that I haven't followed), what are the chances of having 2 bodies machined and produced? I get the feeling that a progressive/no-flame and a staggered flame on the body/flame feed neck might go over well.

                  Sweetness!

Staggered, por favor, and of course you need the flames to keep the good-lookin' a-cookin'.

                    Flat

Just an idea too, flattened sides would look cool. Just to get away from the pipe-look of older Mags. The whole idea of this is to create a new look, and I think a body that sits flush with the rail and gives the mag a flat-side look (if anything add an extra ounce of aluminium instead of making it too thin) with a few teardrop carves that go down the body would look killer. Wish I could do graphics, I'd show what I mean. And a gated feed optional, even if it just means uninstalling the one sent standard and screwing in a gate feed. Think of the look and benefits of that! Anyone else agree with Gated Feed?

Progressive, no flames. It'd be real sweet if you made the feed neck with a clamp on it, like on the no-rises... if flames ends up being made I'll probably buy an aftermarket feed low-rise of some sort.

QuincyMassGuy- the whole point isn't for a new look...Tom wanted to make the lightest body possible, hence the ULE slug. If you want a square shaped body, buy a regular slug and have it milled.

stagered with flames or stagered with no flames. Either way I like the stagered.

                                BODY

Staggered with longer cuts and flames would be cool, and of course with a GATED FEED! Hey, I know I've said it a million times. I'm applying Tom Kaye's principle of "accuracy by numbers" to my posting, might work. Think of the benefits to a gated feed, three locked into the feed column so it'll always feed after sliding into a bunker, no air push slowing it down, it'd be great!

Out of curiousity does anyone know why they didn't just build a body identical to that found on the XMag? Just wondering, I like this one, especially if they flatten the sides, but I was curious about that.
