Has any one replaced their Eggo II LID?

My buddy broke his Eggo lid at the hinge the other night, and is now in the market for just a new lid. He called BE personally, and the idiots said, "Just buy another egg, that way you'll have a back up loader."... Uhh.. No, thats how he ended up with the Egg in the first place when he needed his revvy fixed at the IAO.

But any way, has any one found a site where they offer just the lids?

I know, I'm not a fan of the Eggo II either. I too own a HaloB, but as Captain I'm attempting to make sure everyones existing equipment is working. My friend isn't very web oriented to I figured I speed up the process.

I've got 2 9v revos that won't work, one is the servo and the other seems to be the board. I have 2 12v revos that will just stop working for a while and then start up again - not a ball jam either. Luckily, I have a Halo-b.

Last time I had a bad revo it was $35 plus shipping to fix.

kevmaster, I have a 9 volt revvy that just failed, for no reason it seems. It has an xboard that was at one time working. Its shell has a hole in it but that was WAY after it stopped working. Is there anything that could possibly be done through BE for free?

I doubt it severly but I didnt think it would hurt to ask :)

1 9v and 1 12v are older (with the larger feed necks). The other 2 are about 1.5 years old (the 12v was the $35 replacement for another bad servo). The 9vs are loaners so it's not that important, but the freaky 12vs drive me buggy. :)

I know that's outside of any normal warrantee, I just hate having to replace things that often.
