I can bring my truck but I just wanted to see if anyone wanted to ride so I don't have to talk to my self the whole way. The conversation after a while gets a bit dry. If I do bring my pickup we can load the bed up with equipment and that way you might be able to carry more in the van.

I have never been to an AO meet, but i have always wanted to go. I am thinking about going to this one because it is pretty close. The only thing is Im not sure what to expect, is it usually just a bunch old guys getting drunk at night and then playing senario ball all day. Or is it a wide variaty of players. Im wondering because im only 18, and even though i dont care what age people are when i play with them i dont wanna feel like some kind of young punk outkast in the group. Also when and where do you pay this 20 registration fee, and besides paint what other expenses are there (not including a hotel). Is it possible to only come for saturday and sunday, or even to just walk on on saturdays game. I hope someone can help answer my questions, cuz i really wanna go, meet, play, and shoot some of the people ive been talking to on this great forum.

There are young and old...and then some really old (phil)people. Many people from many different backgrounds, so there is always someone you can relate to. Yeah, the older crowd usually has a few beers and what not, but typically no one gets outta control. Er...wait...there was that party after the Shatner game... Anway, the bottom line is, if you can make it, come, you will have a blast.

Os for expense...Think of it as a weekend away from home.

As for the pre-registration. I would assume that as the meet gets closer you will find out more information on this. I think they would probably do the same thing they did for the tech class at the IAO and have an item in the online store or call the AGD office. I don't think they are taking the registration right now since I doubt Tom has everything worked out yet.
