Ball Detents

What different ball detents are available and what are their specifications? I'd like to know the threads required and the depth of the hole required.
I other words, just how much do you have to take off the side of a slug body to correctly install a ball detent?

its not that much if any im trying to remeber how thick the wall of the inside of my cocker was. its about o id say about 3/4s thickness of the slug to 1/2

also on this anyone else have problems trying to put a 90* fitting on with steel hose because the body is so big?

Most of the ball detents are spring loaded, but I believe Festus used a magnet bases ball detent on his slug body. Definitely sounds like a good way to go.

I found a few stainless steel 90 elbows that had a longer length to them that goes around even the sight rail on the emag nicely, I'll see if I can dig up the manufacturer's info and get you are part number.
