    humph.. tank/warp trouble

    ok, i just got a new tank in the mail, 99 apoc.. and it needs to be hydroed...thats not the problem though. the thing is, i mounted it, just to see how it feels and i noticed that my warpfeed is blocking the fill nipple... how will i get it filled?!?


    edita few more things... warp feed is the most uncompatible ive ever worked with... i screw the screws in all the way, as tight as possible and the mounting bracket STILL moves back and forth!

      Unscrew the fill nipple and put a 90* elbow, pointed down, in it's place and screw the nipple into that. Just be sure to use a nipple cover.

          Also make sure the elbow is rated for HPA.

              one more thing, i need to take a guage off the tank and replace it with another guage and do the elbow thing... does the tank need to be completely empty, can i empty it by just turning the tank on with no air fittings?

                                  Sounds like your screws are too long and are bottoming out inside the frame before they get tight on the bracket. Go to the hardware store and get some shorter screws if they are.

                                      You could also try a couple of washers to act as spacers if you can't find the right sized screws.

                                          yea,use a nipple cover..dont wanna take a dive and have your nipple cover get burried in the dirt..
