a cool thing about playing pump

if a particular field is packed and wait times between games are long you can usually hop onto a team claiming that you "only have a pump." the average joe will just glance over and let you on.

    then again

the players that know it makes no difference will tell you that the you can't play unless the other team gets an additional guy, or will simply refuse to let you on for balance issues.

    just an observation.

The scariest thing is being in a game and looking across you see a guy with only his pump. You have two thoughts in your mind.... either he is a really good or he is new to the sport. You really hope he is not really good

That remonds me of how new players always bash pumps and drool over electronic guns. I personally like pumps and the style of em. I have never had much of a chance to play with one much but the style is cool. Being different, saving money on paint, and kickin ***. oh yea. My next gun will probably be a phantom (not that I will stop using my mag).

Back on the topic thats cool. Just because its pump doesn't mean it still doesn't shoot at you. I can't wait till the day I see a newbie bash a pump then get lit up by it.

The way semi guns are pretty much spray and pray. 3/200 may hit the target sometimes. Thats kinda boring. And spraying lanes and hopin to get lucky is boring, too. I wish there were a way to slow guns down so games would be more fun. Watching pros empty a hopper in 10 seconds is not much fun. Seeing smart moves and nice shots is fun.

I wonder if you walked out there with a carter or a nice lookin' phantom if this would still happen, instead of your....erm, interesting looking p68.

Hey, I would really reccomend the Illusion to anyone looking to get into pump. I don't really like Phantoms (prefer sheridan based myself) but they're really great little guns too.

                Broken record....

I have said it before and will continue saying it, I play much better with my pump. I am more accurate and consistent. I just love my mag and love to play with it too, but my pump kicks ***. I have a Sterling and too love getting those laughs when I walk out with one. I went along on a trip and my mag blew some orings and my arts kit wasn't with me, so I used my Sterling. All these guys with thier rental semi start making fun of me. After I got half the team out they all shut up, mainly because thier rentals had a range of like 50 feet, where I was hitting them twice as far away. Let em mock you I say!
