      lol...noooooo way.

It appears that the part that is broken is the piece at the upmost part of the reg..above the air fitting and guage.

It LOOKS like it screws apart, which would make it A LOT easier to fix,but I have tried everything to unscrew it,and no cigar.

Maybe it just broke the screw off, that screws into the body.

how would i fix this though?

so looking at the top of the reg you broke off the small section of threads that screw into the body. Now the threaded piece is still stuck in the gun body?

Getting that out can be as simple as just using a drill. The drill bit will catch into the threads and basically just unscrew it out of the body. I've even taken them out with a screwdriver before. They really shouldn't be in there that tight.

I've got pieces to fix the reg but they're about $15 for a replacement top. I doubt I could get you one by the weekend without paying horrible shipping but if you want me to try give me an email.

Always use the right wrench for the job...Cresents are for emergency situations and for removal of stuff not installing something and I have little respect for them in a normal install application...

Also purchase good well made equipment too!

Ok,I used a screwdriver to get it out...

So all I have to do is replace the TOP of the reg?

how do I get off the top of the reg anyway?

What WOULD be the right wrench phil?

Just unscrew the top off of the reg. It may be tight, but will unscrew. YOu just need to get a new one to put on there. It's a fairly common thing to have those break off.
                Thanks,

Ummm no an adjustable wrench OF ANY KIND is NOT the right wrench. Not at all... its a poor excuse for one as a matter of fact because it will never stay exactly set right. I mean the proper sized open end wrench.

Strap wrenches work well for seperating stuff.

Get a Check-It products adaptor or a Zenitram 15* ASA Adaptor with a guage port. then you can use any screw in reg you want. I'll post a pic of the Zenitram in a bit.

I'll check my invoices and see what the reg parts cost me. I had it in my head 15 but it may be a little cheaper.
