Once you go warp, you never go back?

I had a warp,with a rico**** on top.During one practice,the friggin thing wouldn't feed right,kept sticking,so I stood up in the middle of the game,screamed obscenities,and stormed off the field to our setup tent.I promp[tly ripped the friggin thing off my gun violently,went to my toolbox and grabbed my ballpeen hammer and proceeded to smash the hell out of the warp and rico.I know have a nice pile of gears and plastic that I show people "thats my warp feed,like it?"

I was peeved,it was acting crappy the 3 months I owned it,I finally snapped,plus my father had passed away that week(reason,not an excuse).

hey law, its not any taller than the top of your head if you held it normally to shoot someone. i had to reply for the fun of it, and to give an idea of how much shorter it is than the original vert feed body.

I don't know, yeah it looks fine but just wouldn't work for me. When i pop up my head is even with the top of my emag so if I were to have a hopper up there..... just too much of a target oh well. It is all in what works for you :)

I definitely prefer the warp, but with the arrival of my new ULE body, it won't be seeing much use for awhile. I've found that it takes me a game or so to get used to one way after coming from the other, though.

I used to love the Warp feed, but i picked up a new marker and couldnt use the Warp on it (2K3 Angel, needed adapter and new hose) so i started playing without it.

I like the ability to shoot either hand, couldnt do that with a Warp. Plus it did add some weight.

yeah i loved the warp but when i had choppage problems i bought the warp then LX came out. I also got the warp because of hopper hits but the no-rise bodies came out and bought one of those and a halo B and i have not yet got a hopper hit out of 2 practices and a tourney

Heres my take.. I sold my warp after I had used it for a little while and never looked back...

I never had much of aproblem with hopper hits before the warp so the justification for adding another 1.5 pnds to the side of my gun just wasnt there.Not to mention that after I learned to shoot equally well with my left hand the whole turn the gun sideways to fire thing just didnt feel right.

I think warps have their place in paintball, but hopper hits are going to get rarer and rarer when the majority of the loader industry copies how the egg2 sits further back on the marker... I havent taken a hopper hit ever with the egg2(thats 4 tournies and 3 practices ago). And not to make a comment that could start a flame-war but if you take a shot to the hopper your doing something wrong to begin with (unless your bunkering somone, at which time you have an excuse)

I love my Warp so much that I bought another warp plate so I can switch it from my X-Mag to R/T in a heartbeat!
