Well i was wondering how often does everyone adjust your level 10. I seem to adjust mine every couple days of play 4000 5000 rounds of paint max sometimes only a case and then it craps out on me. Is this normal because its starting to PO me. I love my emag and there is no way its going im just wondering if there is something im not doing right. Even when i first got it and was installed by robAGD it crapped out after 2 cases on me.

Well, I only had to adjust mine once, I have had it since the protos. You might want to fool around with each different carrier till you find one that suits your gun.

yea in the cold my 1.5 leaks.. but then my 1.0 sticks..
ok not to be stupid but what do shims do? i have an idea but ive heard alota diff stories.
it moves where the bolt starts at.. and also heard that the more u have the faster your bolt will ware due to the tight catch on the sear/bolt

I've only changed things once, last night. And only to see if it will fix a problem I am having with my hypeframe. I changed the 1.5 carrier to a 2.0 carrier. The 2.0 leaked when I first installed it, but it doesn't now. I am assuming that the orings seal better once they are broken in. I also went to the middle spring from the longest spring. If I weren't trying to troubleshoot a problem with the hyperframe I still wouldn't have changed it.
On a side note, I did notice that very tight fitting paintballs shoot at a higher velocity. I had to turn down my velocity almost to the point of where it wouldn't cycle (other level 10's wouldn't cycle). Going to a lower spring fixes the problem. THAT (changing springs) should be considered normal. At least when you have to change the velocity. Using the middle or shortest spring minimizes the changes.

Thx for the imput anyone else? I will try fooling around with the mainsprings. I have just always used the medium spring, never thought to change it.

Lube!
Mine was worked in, but then it got stuck.
I forgot to lube!
No lube = more sticktion.
Did ya lube it? Should be every day of play.

I lube it everytime i gas it up. So is this not normal to be leaking to often? I have been using it since it basically came out i just thought i would ask.

where is it leaking from?
I had an old spring in for the first few times, but then had to switch to the small one with the kit.

After like 4k shots it leaks down the power tube because it needs a smaller carrier

I have had my beta LX since 7/3/02 and have had to adjust it twice.
First time was my fault, I went a 1/2 carrier smaller b/c I thought I should. Had bolt stick so I put it back the way it was.
Second time I was having problems. Using the longest spring, it would sometimes "1/2 fire" pushing the ball past the nubbin but not out the barrel. I changed to the middle spring, re-chronied, and it has worked great since then.

I have installed 7 sofar, 3 on markers I own, 4 on friends or relatives.
The first one I installed, I had to adjust it only once after installing it (switched from the longest spring to the stock spring). The rest I haven't had to touch. Keep them well lubed and you won't get alot of wear on the O-ring.
