    I thought I bought a blender, but...

Mag newbie here, only three hoppers through so far but I can't make it chop. Through several internet deals, I ended up with a pf/hl mag, Rico2K hopper, and a Raptor air system that just wont break a ball.

I even ordered a level 10 kit before I shot it just based on the rep. Now I am thinking why bother.

I am shooting PMI bigball through a J&J 14" ceramic barrel.

Maybe many years of PPC & IPSC revolver shooting helped prevent shortstroking, who knows. All I can say is I love the mag. After being dragged out onto the field by my 10 year old son, I started looking at markers and the AGD line was the only one where the engineering really made sense - form follows function like no other.

Ok, so this is a useless post but I had to get my newbie I Love Mags statement out of the way.

Why not just use the lvl 10, its a failsafe. I am sure you'll get a chop the one time you don't expect it.

I agree .. drop the Level 10 in there as a failsafe

Weather, bad paint, brittle paint, etc .. something you wont expect could bust the ball . maybe you'll just be firing really fast and get caught offguard and clip ...

Its a great way to "just know it wont happen"

If you start using the starch based RP paints like premium and all-star, you'll understand why you want lvl 10. It's easier on paint when you're NOT chopping.

I tried to put some all-star thru my lvl 10 rt, and I was having some trouble with it because I was running the smallest spring at the time. I've got the valve tweaked enough right now, so I can run a larger spring, AKA don't break all-stars and more brittle paint.

Trust me, if you keep playing and using differant paints, you'll understand why lvl 10 is good for you. That, and you can stick your finger in there :)
