It was the only working prototype of the pneumatic pumping system,Glenn had it internalized.

cocker moving parts
(race cocker v/s xmag)
Trigger, Cocking Rod & Hammer (1 piece screwed together), bolt & backblock & pumparm rod, and that's about it other than the sear.
The mag has a trigger, a sear, and a bolt.
Then we get into reg internals, etc. The cocker has 2 regs on gun the mag has one.
Yes the cocker has more moving parts but it works better :-)
The mag is dependable for a reason. The design is clean
and closed. The moving parts are protected from debris and
the air path is closed once you get inside the air.
The cocker has front pnuematics that can get leaks
from the delicate hose used up front (compared to steel braid).
The cocker is a great gun if you time it, set it, use a little
loc-tite (blue not red) and don't muck with it.
You can muck a mag into not working too.

eh
until level 10 came out, that time was evenly offset by the
time spent cleaning a mag from chopped paint.
Darn Tom Kaye and his witty innovations. Now I have to come
up with something new too.

I hope that you are speaking from experience. But thanks anyway for pointing out the obvious.Originally posted by WARPED1
The more moving parts=more that will eventualy break down, which equals more money which equals less playing time."Yea, well, if wishes were horses, then we'd be all eating steak."

I have a new raced boxer and a new xmag and the boxer is a little lighter. I like them both, but the x mag has been giving me lots of probs. I think I got them fixed, but the
raced boxer hasn't had a one.
