    Barrel Length, J&J Availability

First of all, has anyone had any trouble recently finding a J&J Ceramic for their AutoMag? I've had a 12" backordered for several weeks now and finally found a 14" that paintballwizard.com had on display in the store (got $10 off though). Their distributor didn't have any 12" in stock, and none of the other sites I've found that even carry the barrels don't have them in stock.
This leads to my real question. What is the difference performance-wise between a 12" and 14" barrel? How do the extra 2" affect efficiency, accuracy, etc., if at all? Should I cancel my order for the 12" and keep the 14" or try both and see which I like more? Any thoughts or recommendations are much appreciated.

PS. I'm looking for a 12v Revvy, PM or email me if you have one you want to get rid of.

I just bought a J&J Two Piece Pro Kit which has a standard back and interchangeable front pieces to give you the different lengths. I got it through Stalker Paintball. They also carry the 12" and 14" ceramic's and 12" and 14" two piece as well. Here's there website. Check them out.

Also if you want to find out about barrel accuracy, check out this website. They did an extensive test on different barrels and accuracy. The J&J 12" Pro 1 was one of the most accurate and came highly recommended.

Hope this stuff helps you out.

Thanks for the info. I remember reading that article a ways back but I've been out of paintball since early this summer and it's amazing how quickly one can forget.

        J&J

I have only great things to say about J&J!!!
I have 5 barrels for my mag
1 stainless 14" for my tracerr (mental note "barrel is worth more than marker")
        1 for an F2 Illustrator.

I mainly shoot my J&J 12" stainless or the cermaic.
