Is the micromag any better than an automag? Why or why not? and if the X-Valve is made of aluminum .. does that make it better than a RT-Valve with Lvl10? Thanks
Micromag Vs Automag

Micromag is an Automag with an aluminum body and cocker threads for the barrel.
No real difference really.
As for the XValve vs ReTro Valve w/ level 10- the only difference is that the X-Valve is made of aluminum. That's it. No difference whatsoever.
As for the I-frame on the Micromag, I don't see why not.

Yes, I think so. It has a better ball detente and uses autococker threaded barrels (which as a minimum are cheaper and more available). It is made of aluminum so it can be annodized and is much lighter. The X-valve is lighter but thats about it. Same performance. And yes, a micro can take an intelliframe.

Well, I've owned one for 7 years so I'll say yes, it is better. It doesn't cut paint or get bent like nubbins use to. I run it with a force feed evo2 loader and it does just fine.

I've only had to stretch my dente spring out 1 time and I've had it for a year. The micromag has a different balance and is a bit lighter, and yes an intelliframe will fit nicely. Personally I think the verticle feed ones are kina ugly but I like my powerfeed one for some reason.
Cocker threadings nice when you can use barrels that aren't made for the mag, like my an my SCEPTER!
