    My Raced Merlin

Went for an old-school look on this gun, a lot
of people won't like it but I love it.

Click on the pictures for a ginormous version of the picture.

i love merlins, and i LOVE oldschool paintball.

Only problem is, i never see a "full length" merlin body, despite their current availability.

    nice color.

      Dude

Call AKA, they are the best people in the world. I put
them right there w/ AGD man.

Call 317-631-7200 and Eileen usually answers. She can sell
you anything you want and they are super on customer service.

The merlins cost more and I know they have to make a
killing on them, but in my humble (cough cough) opinion,
they are the best cocker that you can build.

The lightening bolt, the tornado valve, those two
      make the gun.

You could put those 2 upgrades on a new stock cocker along
with their springs and it would be awesome, but that
      somehow isn't the same :-)

        Dude, nice Race!

I just finished (as in last night) my 2nd raced cocker. The first was build on a WGP vert feed body - which I decided I didn't like since I couldn't run my warp on it.

I therefore went retro or "old school" with the new one. I took the race frame off and put it my old '99 cocker. The warp runs really well on the side feed. IT was kinda cool to breath new life into the old dog.

It's going to be my primary marker until I can get one of those JMJ feather weight cocker bodies. I'll then put a Excal/Viking warp-feed adapter on it and switch back to vert.

Nice gun. I just wish Race was doing better at this point. There is a lot of funny stuff going on with them right now and I personally am not sure they're going to be around much longer. I hope this isn't the case as I don't care much for the Eblade.

                hey

you don't see any milling on that gun!

I got the motor on and figured out it was a transistor on the board.

I have the part and have to do some soldering.
