    Micromags

Hi, I'm going to buy a red and Black acid wash Micromag from my local field and i was wondering if there are any other upgrades besides the level 10 kit that i might want to put on it. Thanks.

Warp Feed, Intelliframe, ReTro Valve/X-Valve if it doesn't come with one & a motorized hopper.

Plus- I hear the Sceptre barrel kits are SWEET.

No inteliframe, im going to buy a centerflag hyperframe for it and the X-valve from paintballgear.com. I intend to put a red ricochet 2k on it but i dont really want a warp unless i can find one real cheap that is still in working condition. Thanks for the quick responce. This is going to be my pimp backup marker for my 2k2 timmy.

ok, i think thats what i will do, i didnt realize that airgun designs had the trade in program for the X valve so i didnt think about it. I'm kinda new to the whole automag thing because they've never really interested me until now.

If we might ask- what's interested you about them now? It's one question that I don't think gets asked enough.

Im not real sure, PTP mags are cool looking and normal mags are not. I owned a mag at one point and i hated the thing but this was also when i didnt have the money for a nitro tank and i used co2 on it. It never worked and i couldnt adjust the velocity because it would go from 50fps to 280fps then down to 160fps and so on. So naturally i sold it and in about a week i found out that the guy who i sold it to was running it on nitro and it was working flawlessly. So i havnt really considered one since then but i've decided to give it another shot(with nitro this time).

I like them because they're lighter, vertical fed, and have cocker threads. Plus they're kind of uncommon, which is kind of an apeal.

main thing: do not get the hyperframe

#1: they chew up your bolt, and you definetely do not want to ruin a level 10

#2: hyperframes are infamous for double-shooting with retro/x-valves

i would suggest either get the hyper and use your stock bolt, or get the retro and an intelli, which is really nice, and the retro has a nice little kick to the trigger so you can fire faster

ok, just for the fact that i know very little about this, i have to ask why the hyperframe chews up the bolt.

i seriously do not know why it chews up the bolt, but i have heard many, many reports of it chewing up the bolt from hyperframe owners, i think it has something do to with the faster action of the electronic sear catching and relasing the bolt though

Whats the diffrance between the micro-mag and the mini-mag?
Why does a scenario player need a high-end gun? Because sometimes it's 7 on 70.
