    Ricochet hopper

ok i want a new hopper, and ive basically decided on the ricochet. i just wanted to know if the screen that desplays game time and counts balls is worth the extra money/battery usage. should i go with the plain ricochet without the screen? also are there any hoppers you really think are a lot better thanks for the help

If you find yourself not knowing your running low on paint or a need a timer for tourneys and such, then I'd go with the Ricochet with display. I've just stuck with my 12 volt Rev, haven't found a reason really to want to switch, I've just added an Xboard to help a little when I got an Angel. The Rev has performed well for me, so until I have a reason to switch, I'll stick with my Rev. Just need to ask yourself what you need and how badly you need it.

No screen is better IMO, it has a small window to see how much paint you have left

I'd definately go with the AK model and no screen. The window on the side is more than adequate to check paint. I prefer the Ricochet over any other hopper. On a side note.....make sure you get one of the newer shells with the O-Ring neck...........you'll appreciate that feature down the road.

i have the 2k which has the screen b/c i got it used for 40 bucks, but if iw as buying new i would just get the AK, its cheaper and you really don't need the timmer or ball counter.

i'd go with the AK. i have one myself. my dealer has a 2k and he said if he had know how crappy the ball counter is he would have gotten an AK instead

i have a 2k, i kinda dig it. i riged it for a vibrating reload alarm, which you can't do w/ the ak. but i'll say i agree w/ most other people, it would be easier to just check the window, then use the shot counter (not always accurate) and since i can out shoot mine now, the shot counter is off more and more

I have a 2K also and I don't think I've actually used the counter or timer once in an actual game... I just liked the look of it in smoke and I got a decent deal.

hehe, luckily my Emag has a game timer built in

I agree, dont even worry about the timer unless your in tourny's or scenario games where ya need to know game time left.

                  Sincerely
